Urban Educators Expo 2026 Returns to Champion Wellness, Professional Growth, and Community for Educators

Los Angeles, CA — Transitions 2 Success (T2S) is proud to announce the return of the Urban Educators Expo 2026, taking place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Carson Community Center.

As educator burnout, high turnover rates, workforce shortages, and increasing demands continue to impact schools nationwide, the Urban Educators Expo 2026 is returning with a renewed commitment to supporting the professionals who serve students every day.

Hosted by Transitions 2 Success, the Urban Educators Expo is an annual gathering designed to provide educators and helping professionals with resources, inspiration, professional learning opportunities, wellness strategies, and meaningful connections that strengthen both individuals and the communities they serve.

On Saturday, August 22, 2026, the Expo will bring together teachers, counselors, administrators, social workers, school psychologists, nurses, nonprofit professionals, youth-serving organizations, and community leaders for a day dedicated to professional growth, personal wellness, and collective impact.

This year’s theme, “Self-Care & Community Wellness,” reflects the growing need to invest in the well-being of the professionals who support students, families, and communities.

“Educators and helping professionals spend their days pouring into others,” said Karen Glenn, Founder and Executive Director of Transitions 2 Success and creator of The Expo. “The Urban Educators Expo was created to ensure they have a space where they can also be poured into, celebrated, supported, and equipped with resources that help them continue doing this important work.”

Attendees will have opportunities to:

-Participate in professional development workshops; Explore wellness and self-care resources; Connect with community-based organizations and service providers; Discover innovative educational tools and programs; Engage in networking opportunities with fellow professionals; Learn strategies for preventing burnout and sustaining impact; Access resources that support students, families, and schools.

-The Expo is expected to attract educators and helping professionals from throughout Los Angeles County and surrounding communities, creating a unique environment where collaboration and shared learning can flourish.

-In addition to workshops and presentations, attendees will have access to exhibitors, community resources, wellness activations, and opportunities to build partnerships that extend beyond the event itself.  Organizers believe that supporting educators is one of the most effective ways to strengthen schools and improve outcomes for students.

“When we invest in the people who serve others, everyone benefits,” Glenn added. “Healthy educators build healthy schools. Strong schools build strong communities.”

Community organizations, educational institutions, corporations, foundations, and local businesses are invited to partner with the Urban Educators Expo through sponsorships, exhibits, and collaborative programming opportunities.
